Well, I am still waiting on my June Glossybox to arrive, so I will only be sharing June’s Ipsy bag with you guys today. One thing about Glossybox is that their shipping takes so slow. It was shipped out on June 22 and it’s still in Indiana somewhere. They did apologize for the delay, but I am still kind of miffed. I used some of my points to get the box for free, but I was thinking of putting that subscription on hold for a little while to cut back on spending. I have loved Glossybox so much, but I feel it’s just not as great as it was about a year ago. And then they promised a cool product with some mini nail polishes but went back on that because of some disagreement with the brand. I don’t know, but that’s just kind of weird. Maybe the box will come and blow my socks off.

So, alas, I present to you my Ipsy. My June 2013 Ipsy Bag to be exact. If you haven’t heard of it before, it’s a beauty subscription that’s $10 a month and you get a cute little zippered bag with lots of fun products! Click here to sign up!

This is a great, universal lip pencil. The shade is a great pink, and can be worn by itself as it’s pretty opaque, or underneath a lot of lipsticks or glosses.

This is a great quality liner, and while I never would have picked out a purple shade for myself, it totally works and looks great paired with bronze-y looks. An added benefit is that the brush is built into the lid, which is fun.

This is an awesome highlighter pencil! I have used it under the brows or in my inner corners and it is lovely. Something I will probably use a lot.

How do I even begin to review this product? It’s so bad, I am almost insulted that Ipsy sent me this. I sound like such an old fart. Haha! No, but for real. I am a classy lady. This thing is just…a glitter explosion that doesn’t go away no matter how many times you try to wash your hands. Thank goodness I didn’t put it anywhere near my face. I plan on bringing this to school and putting it in our stage makeup cabinet. Unless one of y’all want it? I’ll mail it to you.

I love all things NYX, so I was super excited to receive this product! The shade is super flattering. I wouldn’t describe it as “natural”, however. It is more of a muted pink. Great for creating dewy looks.

I am so stoked that this entire bag was makeup! If there wasn’t that hooker glitter explosion thing in there, it would have been darn near perfect of a bag. Thank goodness the other products redeemed the overall experience. Oh, and the bag is cute.

First off, I love ipsy. The products are almost always full size and you can’t beat 10/month. In this bag however I HATED that damn sparkle palette! I put it by my eyes and it was gritty and chunky! Fail! 🙂

LOL I dare someone to request the hooker glitter from you! Haha, that is pretty awful…

I love purple liner, it’s so much fun and pretty much all I wear. 🙂 I hadn’t heard of Ipsy before but you got some fun things!

It’s pretty great that the bag was all makeup products but I wasn’t thrilled with the shadows! Oh well!

This past month was my first experience with Ipsy and I kind of love it. Like you said, aside from the glittery hooker mess, everything else was things I’ll totally use! I was most excited about the blush, I’ve used it a ton already, and can’t wait to see what’s in this months bag!
