Happy Halloween from Little Cinderella!

Kennedy would like to wish you all a Happy Halloween! Hope you get all the treats and no tricks!

kennedyhalloween2013

I actually did make Kennedy’s little Cinderella costume this year. I promise it’s not crooked, it’s just the fact that it’s on a toddler. I made the dress by taking an 8-inch crochet top from the Hairbow Compay and tying strands of tulle to it that I got from Hobby Lobby. I used some light blue ribbon to lace up the front to make the corset effect and give more coverage. For her necklace, I took an infant sized black elastic headband and hand sewed the little jewel on it. She’s also wearing the lace trim leggings. I’m so proud of myself because I hardly ever DIY anything! Yay!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN, FRIENDS!

Girl, seriously! I swear it about drove me nuts but it was actually kind of therapeutic. I think the part that made me the most frustrated was lacing up the ribbon in the bodice. But thank you so much! It’s raining horrible down here in Houston so I have no idea if we’ll get to go Trick-or-Treating but we have a backup plan! Y’all have a good night too!
