Can we seriously believe that December is here? Can I seriously stop saying that every month?
It’s been a little while since I’ve done my monthly beauty favorites. I skipped October because that was my super busy month, and frankly, my beauty routine was suffering due to the fact that I barely had any time to care about my appearance, let alone try and discover new products.
But alas, I’m back and I have some fun things to share with you! So I give you my November 2013 Beauty Favorites!

Revlon Photoready Foundation
I finally picked this foundation up when Walgreens had it on sale for 40% off (seriously, my favorite place to shop for drugstore beauty). I’m such a die hard Colorstay fan, so it only made sense to try this. Love this stuff! It’s a little more sheer coverage and can build up. What I have actually loved to do is mix it with my Colorstay and it’s awwwwwweeesome.
NYX Blush in ‘Pinched’
This is a very pink, shimmery blush. Love the color payoff. Some say this is a Nars Orgasm dupe, but I think it’s way more pink and not quite as shimmery. I really love NYX’s blushes and this one is no exception!
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette
I picked this up at the Sephora VIB sale. In fact they were actually sold out when I got there. I told the sales girl how much I wished they had it. As I was leaving the store, one of the associates ran after me and said that she found one! So of course I bought it. I have loved these powders. I use the medium one as an all over, the darker one almost like a bronzer, and then I use the light one under my eyes and to highlight. Such unique products and I have really enjoyed using the powders. I’m sure that there are more ways to use them that I haven’t figured out yet!
Jordana 12 Hour Made to Last Eyeliner
These babies are $2.99 at Walgreens. I’ve never tried this brand before but I am very impressed with this! It stays put and glides on so buttery smooth. It definitely rivals the L’Oreal one I love so much. Great for lower lash line and the waterline.
Maybelline Color Whisper in ‘Berry Ready’
Strangely enough, I haven’t tried any of these lip products, although I’ve been eyeing them for months! I absolutely love this berry color. It can be worn highly pigmented or sheered out. Perfect for fall and winter! Also very moisturizing and doesn’t fade all weird. Winner in my book!
There you have it! Lots of fun products! What have you been loving lately? Leave it in the comments so I can add it to my never-ending beauty wish list!
