Third Trimester Maternity Style – Dressed in Orange
Next up in my third trimester maternity style posts (check out last week’s post if you missed it), I’m dressing up for you! This hasn’t happened much lately. Like I’ve said before countless times, my standard uniform includes yoga pants and a long tank or maternity tee. That’s usually enough for the gym, errands, and wrangling a 2.5 year old.
Luckily ASOS came to the rescue. I knew since our anniversary was coming up, I would want something to wear that was cute, comfortable, and dressy all at the same time. Enter this dress. It’s honestly the perfect knee-length maternity dress with sleeves. I love the color selection it comes in (I’m kind of regretting not getting the orchid and blue colors), but I chose the orange because it was on sale and I wanted to branch out and get a color I don’t have much of. The scary thought of me resembling a pumpkin did cross my mind, but I actually think I made the right decision going with it!
Dress: ASOS (c/o) | Short Necklace: Groopdealz | Long Necklace: Kendra Scott | Bracelet: Ebay (I love a good J. Crew knockoff) | Clutch: Louis Vuitton (I have no idea which one this is, and I’m about 90% sure it’s a really good fake- got it as a gift. Hey, at least I’m being honest.) | Shoes: Steve Madden (very old) | Nail polish: OPI ‘Mod About You’ | Lip Color: Bite Beauty Luscious Creme Lipstick in ‘Retsina‘
I decided to pair it with some more layered necklaces, a chunky big bracelet, and a small clutch (it felt so freeing to carry a purse that small). The shoes are actually ones I have had for five years. I bought them for our rehearsal dinner. I haven’t been buying shoes lately because I’m scared my feet may grow or swell too much. Luckily they haven’t, but I don’t have the selection of shoes that I would really love, and I thought a nude pair of shoes would work best. Also, please excuse my white pasty legs. I was self-tanning a lot this summer but now I just hate even the thought of bending over.
I think the best thing about this dress is that it can be dressed up or dressed down. It would look great with a pair of leopard sandals and my trusty denim vest! It’s so comfy, and it’s the perfect length, even at 36 weeks pregnant. Many of my shorter dresses have become a little too short in the front due to the growing bump, but this one is perfect. Perfect for our anniversary dinner date! And Greg actually took these pictures for me willingly! Go Greg!!!!
You look great! Love the dress.
Thank you so much, friend! 🙂

Thank you so much, Rachael!! You are too kind 🙂
You look so pretty and you do NOT look like a pumpkin. I have a baby shower this weekend and am undecided about what to wear. Point of that story? I just ordered this dress in orchid and paid for express delivery to give myself the option! Ha! 🙂
OMG I love it!!! Seriously, you will love the dress. The material is really thick, stretchy, and not clingy at all. I’m kind of kicking myself that I haven’t found it sooner so I could have worn it more throughout my pregnancy…. and in every color!
I love that dress! The color looks so good on you! I seriously need to start shopping ASOS Maternity!
Thank you!! You need to grab this dress stat. The material is thick, stretchy, and not clingy at all. I wish I would have discovered it before the very end of my pregnancy!
