A Beauty Lover’s Splurge Gift Guide

When putting together my Christmas list, I tend to include Christmas all of those splurge beauty items I would be hesitant to buy for myself normally. I love all kinds of makeup, and I do not discriminate between high end and drugstore. Sometimes I have trouble splurging on big things and I will wait until I get a gift card… sometimes I don’t! I have a lot of makeup and it’s hard to justify a purchase if I have five other products like it. But let’s face it – I’m a product junkie. I also have a coupon that Sephora sent me that is burning a hole in my pocket.

If you have a beauty lover in your life and you have no idea what to give her, I’ve got you covered. I own many of these items, and some of these are on my wish list. Let’s jump right in, shall we?

A Beauty Lover's Splurge Gift Guide - Need ideas for the beauty lover in your life? Want to splurge a little? I got you covered.

Velour Silk Lashes // I really love my Ardell Demi Wispies and they are such a great price point for false lashes that are very natural looking. Having a pair of fancy false lashes also is in my repertoire. I have some Lena Lashes and love them, but Velour is next on my list. I hear nothing but good things.

Sigma #NOFILTER Brush Set // Sigma is one of my favorite brands of makeup brushes ever! They are completely comparable to MAC and are very durable. I love that this set includes an F80 flat top kabuki (best foundation brush ever), an F10 powder brush, and a F35 tapered highlighter brush.

Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette // This just got released at Sephora on Monday! I originally thought I didn’t want this palette but the more I look at it the more it is drawing me in. The packaging also is gorgeous. It looks like it’s a great neutral palette with some fun pops of color!

Elizabeth and James Nirvana White and Nirvana Black // I love both of these fragrances, which were crafted by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The Nirvana Black is definitely my favorite of the two, but having both would be amazing to own. People mix them all the time, as well. I also love the packaging of these perfumes.

Tom Ford Lipstick // If you are going to buy $52 lipstick, Christmas is the time to go all out, am I right? I have the color Indian Rose, which is a cult favorite. It is very wearable and gorgeous. It also would be fun to do a bold/statement color. The packaging is luxurious and the lipstick is beautiful!

Lancome Hypnose Drama Instant Full Body Mascara // I have been trying this mascara the last couple of months and I am absolutely blown away by it. I am not usually a high end mascara girl, but this is making me a convert. It curls, lifts, volumizes, and lengthens. It really does everything.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette  // I got this palette last Christmas with some gift card money and do not regret this purchase whatsoever. These powders are absolutely gorgeous. I use it for setting and highlighting under the eyes. I am likely going to go back and purchase Dim Light because this powder is amazing.

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick // I have two of these, and the packaging is sooooo gorgeous! They have more of a balmy feel to them. I have Nude in Private, which is a beautiful wearable nude, and Pink in Devotion, which is a cool toned pink. The regular YSL lipstick formulation is gorgeous, too. That’s next on my list, for sure!

Tarte At First Blush Deluxe Amazonian Clay Blush Set // My friend Michelle picked this set up while we were out at Ulta, and it is absolutely gorgeous. I played around with it in store and am in love. The blushes are smaller sizes, but definitely not a a skimp on product.

Charlotte Tillbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Palette // I have wanted this palette for forever. One day I will pull the trigger. The art deco rose gold packaging and the contour and highlight shades. I want to dip my toes in the Charlotte Tillbury pond and I think this palette would be a great inaugural item.

I can keep going but we’ll just stop there! What’s on your splurge wish list?

I couldn’t agree with you more on all of these items. I had to purchase a full sized Dim Light after I went through the whole thing in the palette. Nirvana White and Black are my FAV scents (especially mixed). Now I just need to get the courage to pull the trigger on that Charlotte Tillbury palette. It is calling my name.

Loving this list girl!! I never knew Sigma brushes were pretty affordable and I need a new foundation brush, mine fell apart (cheapo brand) and Sephora has one, but it isn’t full enough! I totally just gifted myself that brush and some other Sigma goodies! Loving the Gwen Stefani palette, such pretty colors, but that may have to wait, I’ve literally bought like 5 or 6 new eyeshadow palettes…it’s a problem :)!
