I can’t believe it’s been so long since I have done a favorites post! I have gotten so many new and fun beauty products since Christmas and I have been wanting to share them with you! For the purposes of keeping this post not too rambly, I’m going to narrow it down to eight products and save some others for next month!

Too Faced Boudoir Eyes
I have been wanting this palette for forever and got it for Christmas. I am a sucker for cool neutral shades and this palette is just gorgeous! I love how it can create a super sexy smoky look, but it is also totally wearable in the daytime. The pinkish purple hues look so pretty with the taupe shades. It’s so flattering!
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in ‘Tipsy’
I also got this blush for Christmas. I absolutely adore the electric orange shade and it’s like no other blush I own. Believe it or not, it’s super wearable! It gives a gorgeous flush of color and it really doesn’t look that electric on the cheeks.
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in ‘Pink Quartz’
Another one of those items I’ve wanted for what felt like forever. I had a Macy’s gift card so I splurged on a Shimmer Brick. These aren’t exactly budget-friendly, so I felt the gift card helped me justify it. I love that it can be used anywhere on the face. I’ve used it on my eyes as a light wash of color, but I mostly use it to highlight with. It’s absolutely gorgeous, and I’m glad I picked up Pink Quartz. It’s not too glittery and adds just the right amount of highlight.
MAC Pro Longwear Concealer
Why has it taken me so dang long to purchase this concealer? I thought I wouldn’t like anything more than my MAC Studio Finish concealer, but this takes the cake. It’s amazingly full coverage but also super light and never cakes or settles into fine lines. It works perfect under eyes and on blemishes. It’s pretty much the perfect concealer and holy grail status. I’m for serious. I wear the shade NW20.
NYX Butter Gloss in ‘Peaches and Cream’
I also felt like I was the only person who didn’t own a single NYX butter gloss. I love how these glosses are highly pigmented without being overly sticky. The color is gorgeous. I have loved bright colors throughout winter and this is no exception!
L’Oreal Carbon Black Lineur Intense Liquid Eyeliner
I picked this up because MakeupbyTiffanyD always uses it and raves about it as her favorite liquid liner. I have loved using it. It’s pretty fool proof with the felt tip and is one of the most user friendly liquid liners I’ve used. Not to mention, it’s extremely black and doesn’t budge. Win, win.
Adult Acnomel
This is a product that I was able to get my hands on after my dermatologist appointment, but it has been absolutely life changing for my breakouts. Weird name, but really effective. Since I’m pregnant, I’ve had to stop my Retin-A prescription and had to find something safer. This is awesome. It’s a sulfur-based product and is absolutely effective at controlling breakouts, no matter what type it is. Apparently this product isn’t available in your usual drugstore area for acne medications – you have to go to the pharmacist and they will order it. Or you can get it online. But trust me when I say this works. I have tried almost everything under the sun.
Pure Rosehip Seed Oil
My brother gifted me some of this stuff for Christmas. He’s kind of a hippie and always gives really unique gifts with cool health benefits. He remembered when I told him that I like to use oils on my skin, especially for cleansing and moisturizing. Oh my dear goodness, this rosehip seed oil has been such a game changer and has been lovely to use in “winter” (I put that in quotes because while it isn’t that cold down here in winter, it’s definitely less humid and my skin isn’t used to that). I swear my skin literally glows after I apply it. Rosehip seed oil has so many awesome benefits, including a high concentration of Vitamin A and many other antioxidants. Apparently it’s the “next coconut oil.” I definitely recommend checking it out and adding it to your skincare routine. I use it at night, as it’s a little heavy for daytime.

Every time I’m out grocery shopping (admittedly, not that often, as John does most of it) I try to look for scandal eyes – based on your recommendation. They are always out! I guess I’ll just need to interwebs it.

I usually see them more at drugstores as opposed to the grocery store or target (also, target has really been sucking in the makeup dept lately). They are always in stock at Walgreens!

The NYX butter glosses are AMAZING. And I’ve been looking for a more budget friendly alternative to my beloved Lancome Artliner, but everything I’ve tried has been horrible. I’ll have to try this L’Oreal!
