Holiday Glam Beauty Tricks with Q-tips

Disclosure: Thank you to Q-tips for sponsoring today’s post and inspiring me to glam up for the holidays!

With the holiday season upon us, we have more opportunities than usual to glam up and look super festive. I love holiday glam makeup, but sometimes it takes quite a bit of effort for everything to look sharp and put together. One of my beauty secrets in making my life a little easier are the Q-tips Precision Tips. I’ve been using the regular Q-tips for years to help me out with these kinds of looks, but I love the Precision Tips because, well, they are great with helping you be more precise! It basically means that you don’t have to worry about having the steadiest of hands, especially when you’re working with things like false lashes, winged liner, a strong brow, and red lips.

Holiday Glam Tricks with Qtips

Winged liner, big lashes, and bold lips are so classic to begin with, but I find it especially appropriate to create this look during the holiday season. Here are some of the little tricks I used to create this look!

Perfect Winged Liner

I will be the first to admit that I absolutely suck at winged liner. I have such round eyes, so I have to start the wing further towards the center of the eye. Getting the wing just right requires quite a bit of effort. My best friend for this is always Q-tips. Once I’ve got somewhat of a wing shape down, I make sure to dip my Qtip into some makeup remover and drag it along the bottom edge of the liner to sharpen up the wing. Works like a charm every time!

Easy False Lashes

I have ruined many a falsies when I’ve tried to squeeze the eyelash glue straight onto the lashes. It’s a giant mess. Trust me and never attempt that! One thing I like to do to prevent this mess is to squeeze the eyelash glue onto a Q-tip and then spread onto the lash strip. I let the glue dry 30-60 seconds, apply directly to my lash line with my fingers, and then use some tweezers to get them set in perfectly.

Chiseled Brows

I love a great, chiseled brow, especially with winged liner and bold lips. Sometimes it can take quite a bit of effort for both of your brows to look sharp with just a pencil, especially since most eyebrow pencils create such a soft and diffused look. This is when you can take a Q-tip with a bit of concealer on it and carve out the brow. It makes such a huge difference!

Bold, Red Lips

No matter how perfectly you line your lips and precisely apply your lipstick, you’re bound to have a little mistake here and there. As you can see, my lips on the left look decent, but not completely sharp. I even made sure to exfoliate and line my lips before the lipstick. For an absolutely perfect red lip, I like to take a Q-tip with a bit of concealer and outline my lips. I think it makes a dramatic difference!

You don’t have to be a professional or even have a ton of makeup tools in order to get this classic holiday glam look down. All you really need are some of your favorite makeup products and a few Q-tip Precision Tips! You’re so welcome! I definitely think you can do red lips!!! I think red lipstick on redheads is stunning. Make sure that you get a lipstick that has more of a blue undertone and stray far away from the orange-y reds.

A fascinating discussion is worth comment. I do think that you ought to publish more on this topic,
it may not be a taboo subject but typically people do not discuss such issues.
    To the next! Kind regards!!

Because of this capability, this equipment is mainly used in drainage cleaning
where solids have already mixed in with the fluids. Reed beds present sludge dewatering by plant consumption,
evapotranspiration, and drainage. In fact, there would be plenty of surplus water to irrigate the garden or sell to
    other consumers.
