Sprout for Picky Toddlers

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Sprout Organic Foods for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Now that Caroline is 2, we’ve got a full-fledged toddler on our hands. With that comes new vocabulary words, skills, lots of meltdowns, and big opinions. One of those big opinions has to do with food. This girl is becoming picky and likes to stick with what she likes. Kennedy was so picky, and while we tried so many different ways to sneak her fruits and veggies in, we sometimes had to resort to baby food pouches… even when she was 3. Ain’t no shame.

Caroline seems like she is headed down that same path. It’s an easy way to get those fruits and veggies in, but sometimes we may not know everything that is in those pouches. We recently got to try some of Sprout’s new organic baby food pouches and they are a winner in this house with the toddler and mama!

Caroline is loving their new Pouch flavors: Blueberry Banana Oatmeal, Pear Spinach Prune, Mango, and Spinach Banana Apple. Every product is labeled so that the names match the order of ingredients inside. It’s such a great feeling knowing exactly what I am feeding Caroline.

Sprout is committed to always being transparent and not only putting only good ingredients in their products but telling us exactly what is in them. Their Honesty Pledge and their Mission & Values are definitely something I’m on board with. “Keep it Honest, Make it Real” is their tagline and they are committed to using only ingredients that would be found in your kitchen with zero preservatives and nothing artificial.

Even though I have a picky girl on my hands, it’s important to me to help her develop a love of healthy foods, so that she can have healthy eating habits for life (as research suggests). Luckily, Sprout is committed to providing the best nutrition and uses only certified-organic, non-GMO ingredients like whole fruits, vegetables, and grains. Give some Sprout a try, but before you do, make sure to download this buy one get one free coupon!

You can buy Sprout at a wide variety of retailers.  I’m so excited that these Sprout Pouches are now available at my local Target in Houston!

My son is picky too. He has a problem with textures. I would love to give these a try again but last time he just squeezed the bottles.
