Galentine’s Brunch at Barbazzar

A couple of Sundays ago, Dawn and I had the pleasure of hosting another fun blogger event! We sure have had so much fun getting to know the ladies in our little area of Houston. Houston is a huge city, and there are tons of bloggers in the area, but it’s so special when you can connect with like-minded girl bosses who are a stone’s throw away. Check out our previous holiday brunch – we are really enjoying planning these fun get-togethers!

We partnered with Barbazzar for a coffee and chocolate themed Galentine’s brunch. They spoiled us with all the sweets our hearts could desire, gorgeous hand-crafted lattes, and even a special culinary presentation!

We gathered on their patio, and the weather was perfect (despite a few rain drops here and there). It isn’t often you get to dine outside in Houston and not die of heat stroke, so that was a real treat!

Barbazzar put out quite an impressive spread of specialty desserts that were made by their chocolatiers. Everything is made by them in house, along with their amazing menu of food and beverage items. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty sure this is dessert heaven.

Like I mentioned, we were treated to a culinary demonstration by one of the chefs! He made a “dragon’s breath” dessert, which consists of meringue and liquid nitrogen. Once you pop the dessert in your mouth, you breathe out “smoke” through your nose! It was really fun!

It was such a great time to get to know new faces while indulging in amazing desserts and coffees. Thank you to all the fabulous ladies who joined us!

And, of course, a big thank you to Dawn for being my blog event planner partner! We make a great team!

Finally, a big thank you to the folks at Barbazzar for hosting us! You completely spoiled! We don’t have a lot of “cool” places like

If you live in the Clear Lake area of Houston, definitely check them out. We don’t have a lot of “cool” places like Barbazzar in the ‘burbs, and it is my favorite place to go to meet up with girlfriends (and blog friends like Dawn and Michelle) or talk Pinterest strategy with Channing. They have great coffee, food, desserts, and they even have booze for your evening visits!
