If you’ve been around here for a while, you all know that I love drugstore makeup. Okay, I love every kind of makeup, but I feel especially accomplished when I find a gem at the drugstore. I think many of y’all appreciate it, too, because you aren’t collectors like I am. You want great stuff and don’t want to pay a lot. You want a pretty face. I totally get it!

But that’s why I’m here. I find all the good stuff. And today we’re blabbing about blushes. There’s just something about a good blush that instantly brightens your complexion and completes your makeup look. Blushes are just so fun to collect. But what are the best drugstore blushes? Well, let’s just dive right in! I got you, girl.

There's just something about a good blush that brightens your complexion and completes your makeup. But what are the best drugstore blushes? Houston blogger Meg O. on the Go shares the best drugstore blushes!

Milani Baked Blush // This blush in the shade “Luminoso” is my all-time favorite drugstore blush, and in my top 5 blushes ever. It’s so gorgeous. I’m usually not a shimmery blush kind of girl, but this one leaves a beautiful finish and flush. I love the peachy color. I also have the colors “Rose D’Oro” and “Corallina.”

Milani Rose Powder Blush // Milani kills it in the blush department. These Rose blushes are matte and seriously gorgeous. You also get a lot of product, as these compacts are pretty big.

Wet n Wild Color Icon Blusher // I’ve gotta say, this blush in “Pearlescent Pink” is an amazing every day blush that goes with so much. This one’s my second favorite on this list! I also have the color “Mellow Wine” and it’s a perfect fall berry blush.

Essence Silky Touch Blush // I was so impressed with how smooth, silky, and easy these blushes go on. They’re very pigmented, too!

L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Blush // You don’t really hear much about these blushes, but I really love the formula and finish of these blushes. I also really appreciate that they are sorted by skin color undertone. If you’re a blush newbie and not sure what color to get, this is a great place to start. Depending on whether you’re cool, neutral, or warm toned, you select a blush from those lines.

ELF Pressed Mineral Blush // I ordered this one online, and I am not sure if I see it much in the stores that sell ELF. However, this one is worth mentioning. It’s super crazy pigmented, the colors are gorgeous, and are very blendable.

ELF HD Blush // This is the most intense cream blush ever! The tiniest dot goes a long way, and it looks best applied with a stipple brush. I sometimes like to use this when I want to layer it under a more dramatic makeup look that I want to last all day. I have it in the shade “Diva” and it’s an intense hot pink!

NYX Cream Blush // Hands down, the best cream blush available at the drugstore. had to give the ladies who love cream blushes an option. I have it in “Natural,” and it’s the most perfect every day cream blush.

I have been LOVING cream blush lately!! I use Josie Maran… which I got as a gift, so I won’t be buying it for myself once I’m out. I’m glad to know ELF has a good option! I love how the cream type makes my face glow a bit. 🙂

  2. Love this! Great photos and great recommendations. I completely agree with all of them 🙂 Luminoso is a cult fave!

  3. I cannot find Milani anywhere around me and it drives me bananas! I have been meaning to pick up that Wet N Wild, I’ve heard nothing but great things about it.

I needed this post in my life, thank you. L’Oreal True Match is my jam, it’s been a consistent favorite of mine for the last several years!

  5. Thanks for this! I’m definitely not a blush collector, I tend to own ONE at a time. Nars you-know-what or some MAC that I think you recommended. However, I hate spending $30 on BLUSH. I’ll give one of these a try when it’s time to replenish.

  6. Love Milani blushes too, and that WNW blush is one of my favorites for spring and summer since it’s so peachy in tone!

Thanks again Meg for giving me such great comparisons to look in to! I was wondering if you’ve ever done comparisons with direct sell products like Mary Kay? I’ve been using some of their make up and I do like it but I’m kind of curious how it HONESTLY holds up to the competition. Thanks again for all your hard work! Keep it coming!

  8. Which of these do you find long lasting, if any? Thank you!

  9. Does anyone know if Milani’s other makeup products last as long and work as well?

  10. Hi! Thanks so much for the thorough list. Can’t get enough drugstore makeup 🙂
