I don’t know about you, but I like to get as many days as I can in between hair washes. I have very fine hair, and this can be difficult to accomplish. While I wish I could throw my hair in a braid or a high ponytail, it just doesn’t look that great with my hair texture. Over time, I’ve found that having a great dry shampoo and a couple of easy hairstyles on deck will help me get an extra day (or two!).

This half up pony looks so trendy and chic, but is so easy! The key with this hairstyle for fine hair is not to pull up too much of your hair – just a small enough piece to get enough into a little pony tail. Heres’ what to do:

1. Dry shampoo roots
2. Gather a small piece of hair in the top 1/4 of the crown and secure in a ponytail with a small clear elastic
3. Pull at the roots to give volume
4. Tease the ponytail to give volume
5. Wrap a small piece of hair around the elastic and bobby pin

I just love how fun and trendy this hairstyle is!

Super Easy Chignon Hair Tutorial

A chignon is much easier than you think! This easy hairstyle is elegant and refined, but can still look edgy and fun with a cool outfit and accessories. Here’s what to do:

1. Dry shampoo roots (optional – tease crown to create volume)
2. Gather hair into a low ponytail and secure with a clear elastic
3. Flip the ponytail into a little “topsy tail”
4. Tease the ponytail to create volume
5. Gather the ponytail and push up into the topsy tail to create the chignon, secure with bobby pins

Top Knot with a Headband Hair Tutorial

I know the top knot is a go-to for many of us when our hair is in between washes. Sometimes it can be hard to get the perfect top knot when you have fine hair. I love this way to make my top knot look more full and to amp up the hairstyle a little bit. Also, if you hair is really in need of a hair wash, this is a great style because the headband will hide a lot of your roots! Here’s what to do:

1. Dry shampoo roots
2. Gather hair into a high ponytail and secure with an elastic
3. Tease ponytail to create volume
4. Wrap hair around into your desired top knot shape and secure with bobby pins
5. Put on a cute headband

I love how the headband makes the hairstyle a little more fun, and I also love how full the top knot looks!
